This is the second year in a row the competition has been held, and Garin Hess, the conference’s executive director, says the first year was a success.

“I used to teach in a university instructional technology program. So we initially organized the competition for students at that university where I was teaching,” says Hess. “It really pushed students to stretch their instructional design and technical development skills to the limit, and the winning entry was an excellent piece of e-learning from both standpoints.”
