Angst-ridden Book 10 Things I Hate About Christianity Brings Peaceful Resolutions

Can any good come from hate? This is the question author Jason T. Berggren is repeatedly asked regarding his conflict-ridden book 10 Things I Hate About Christianity: Working Through the Frustrations of Faith.

10 Things I Hate About Christianity: Working Through the Frustrations of Faith

In interview after interview, Berggren defends the use of the word hate in his title and explains the purpose of the book.

Contrary to what the title suggests, the book is meant to channel the anger and frustration that many have with faith and use it to build a stronger connection with God. Berggren shared with the Christianpost.com, "I struggle with certain aspects of Christianity… I thought that since I was tapping into truth I would have all my questions answered, all my insecurities would go away, and I would get everything I wanted. This book is me sitting on the couch having it out with God. Telling Him how I feel and trying to find my way."

New Book by Nevada Author. Local author John Silberman is announcing the publication of his memoir, The Life and Times of an Ordinary Joe Named John, which has just been released by PublishAmerica and is now available..

Silbermans first book takes us through his courageous struggle to escape his unhappy past and build a successful life and career. His story begins in mid-1930s New York City, where he describes his early memories of being shuttled between bitterly divorced parents. As he grew, Silberman and his family experienced times of absolute destitution, yet also times of great wealth. He recalls his feelings of abandonment as his socialite mother deposited him at a strict boarding school at the tender age of eleven, where he was to grow up. After college and a stint in the wartime military, he found his focus, and used all of those hard-earned experiences create a successful career. He built several companies from the ground up, soaring to the heights of his profession and earning a reputation as one of the best in his field. At the same time, he put up with crazy neighbors, oddball friends, and an assortment of characters and drinking buddies. From New York, to Sacramento, California, and finally Carson City, Nevada, Silberman learned the lessons that allowed him to become successful in his career and in life.

The Life and Times of an Ordinary Joe Named John should be read by anybody who enjoys a story of man overcoming personal difficulties to achieve success. It is a heart-warming tale, replete with anecdotes about work, friends, and family.
